Since 2007, Block Island Seafood Company has been bringing friends and family together to enjoy coastal classics.


People always ask why it is called Block Island Seafood Co.

For over three decades, my family has spent summer vacation on Block Island, a small island 12 miles off the coast of RI. Every night, dinner was an event. Everyone pitched in to prep, cook, and set the table. Some nights we had shucking contests and battled it out to see who could shuck the most clams in a minute. Some nights, we ate what we reeled in that morning, but every night we made memories and laughed until our faces hurt. Trust me, the food was always great, but the laughter and the good times remain unforgettable. To me, cooking is more than the food; it's the memories and the camaraderie shared in the kitchen with those you love.


My goal, along with the great crew of people who wear the BISCo. Blue is to bring you a slice of the fun and a big taste of the food we've enjoyed on our many trips to The Block.
